Summary
Zoledronate may prevent bone loss in patients at increased genetic risk of ovarian cancer who are undergoing risk-reducing surgery to remove the ovaries.
This randomized phase II trail is studying zoledronate to see how well it works compared to observation in maintaining bone mineral density in patients who are undergoing risk-reducing surgery to remove both ovaries.
