Dr. Michele Carbone appointed as director of the Cancer Research Center of Hawai‘i
August 27, 2009
Michele Carbone, MD, PhD, was recommended by the University of Hawai‘i Manoa Chancellor, Virginia Hinshaw, and approved by the UH Board of Regents at its August 27 meeting to lead the Cancer Research Center of Hawai‘i (CRCH) as its next director. An eight month national search process, which identified four exceptional candidates, culminated in Carbone’s appointment.
